Community Support for
The Trolley Fund
If you have ridden our trolley recently, you are aware that our 1987 Trolley is in desperate need of a replacement. We are in the midst of a fund drive to raise at least $50,000 before the end of the year to help cover the expected the cost of a replacement at about $175,000! As a 501(c)3 charitable organization, we depend on funds from our friends, neighbors, and supporters to continue our service of providing tours to share Salem's rich history. Each year, over 1,000 passengers including school children, out-of-town visitors, and residents ride the trolley to see the Salem homes that were part of the Underground Railroad and to visit locations where significant historical events have happened. We are very proud of our Quakertown Trolley!
